Keller Outdoors was founded in 2005 as the result of a dream of or father, Jim Keller.  It was his dream to form a family business that would help keep us connected as we grew up, got married and moved away.  Unfortunately we lost our Dad to cancer before he could see this dream come true. Our father was our hero and still is. 

KO's first act was creating the website www.minnesotawaterfowler.com in the spring of 2005. It started as a hobby but quickly grew into something much larger.  Banner ads on our site now receive close to half a million impressions during the fall waterfowl season.  The community based site has been a great place for us to meet many wonderful waterfowlers in this great state and we owe them much of the sites success. 

The fall of 2005 saw us pick up the camera and make our first attempt at filming.  Our goal was simply to capture waterfowl hunting strictly in Minnesota, something that had never been done before.  The result was Border Patrol, Pure Minnesota Waterfowling.  This DVD continues to be our #1 seller and has sold out of every store it's ever been in.

After spending a year recovering from our first tour of fairs and expos promoting our DVD, we new we were ready for more.  The fall of 2007 saw KO hit the road once again as we did our best to show a glimpse of what this great state has to offer.  The result was Border Patrol II, SHELLBURNER.  Highlighted by a risky trip across Lake of the Woods to the NW Angle, this DVD was all action from the first goose hunt to the bonus turkey hunt at the end.

Feeling the momentum building, we didn't have the luxury of a year off in 2008.  Instead, with upgraded camera gear in hand we took off once again in search of new waterfowling hideouts here in MN.  As we go through hours of footage, I'm certain our new DVD will be one you won't want to miss.

New in 2009 for Keller Outdoors was an opportunity to film for a TV show that will air on The Outdoor Channel this summer and fall.  Stay tuned for air dates of our new TV show and DVD series called The Ultimate Hunting Series. 
What drives Keller Outdoors is not the excitement of releasing a new dvd or running a great website.  We enjoy that for sure, but our passion is young people and doing what we can to encourage them through our love for the outdoors.  Through Timber Bay Outdoor Adventure we hope to connect loving, adult mentors into the lives of this generation.  Click HERE to read more.
