KO Adventure Hunts

MN Early Goose Hunts September 5th-22nd These hunts will take place all over NW Minnesota where we will see migrators typically the first weekend in September. We will hunt a mixture of fields and water.  Our goal is not only to shoot a limit of 5 Canadian Geese, but to do it in unique setting that you don't see every day.

MN Regular Season Duck and Goose Hunts~October 3rd-December 1st (tentative dates)-The first part of the season we'll be up north, way up north!  Northern Minnesota sees an influx of birds early in October and it's something we don't want you to miss.  From big water blue bills to wood ducks in the timber to field hunting mallards and geese, KO will customize a waterfowling adventure that will cause you to day dream at work the entire week after your hunt.

MN Late Goose Hunts December 2nd-17th (tentative dates)-There are no shortage of geese in Minnesota so thankfully we're allowed to hunt them through most of December.  As the weather gets colder, we'll follow these birds until we see "Welcome to Iowa", which means most of our hunts will probably be in Southern MN.

Afternoons?
If your hunt ends around 1pm, there are some great afternoon options for you to enjoy.  My first recommendation is to RELAX!  Kick back, take a nap!  How often does that happen back home?  Once you've done that you may be able to do one of the following:  grouse hunt (rough & sharptails), Prairie Chickens by permit, fish, pheasant hunt with one of our local clubs, explore, photography and did I say relax?  Some of these options may cost for additional licenses and/or guides but we'll work with you if you're up for an unguided adventure.

*On occasion, if our following day is open and we have not shot limits in the morning, we can do an evening hunt for ducks and/or geese.

What to expect on your hunt?
All of our hunts will be performed in a legal and safe manner.  When hunting fields, you will rest comfortably in our Final Approach layout blinds.  When hunting water, we will almost always be shooting from shore and not out of a boat.  Because we rely on waterfowling for a living, all of our decoys, field and water, are some of the best you can buy. If you are spending the night in one of our local motels, resorts or campgrounds, we will meet you at your door in the morning and either have you hop in with us or follow behind.  Most hunts will be minutes from your door.  Our hunts will have 1-2 guides and 2-5 hunters.  We can accommodate larger groups that all come together as one party.  All hunts will typically last till 1pm unless the guide chooses to extend the hunt or the flight is over as we need to spend the afternoon scouting for the next day.  Some afternoon shoots are available.  All of your guides are not only excellent waterfowlers, but great guys who truly look forward to spending the day in the field with you.  It is my personal goal to send you home revitalized, refreshed and full of ducks and geese.
